Our team project topic is sport:
OPTIONS TRAIL QUESTIONS AND HYPOTHESES

1.QUESTION: Under what circumstances is it 'okay' (legal) to take PED's?
HYPOTHESIS: We didn't find any circumstances where it is legal, so no, we predict that people won't agree.

2.QUESTION: Does the use of illegal PED's by some athletes coerce other athletes to also use them to remain competitive?
HYPOTHESIS: Yes, the idea of "peer pressure" does greatly affect the motivation of some players against others.

3. QUESTION: Does the use of PED's violate the "spirit of sport"?
HYPOTHESIS: Yes.

4. QUESTION: Is the 'win at all cost' mentality ethically justifiable by club management?
HYPOTHESIS: No, ethical morals go first.

5. QUESTION: Are Essendon being unfairly targeted? Why is the media primarily basing coverage on them instead of other cases (eg. Cronulla Sharks)
HYPOTHESIS: Yes.

Where are we planning on going for our Options Trail?

Who have we tried to contact? What is the status of our attempt?
Who have we called / emailed?
What is the outcome of that call / email?
What do we have to do next?

Action Project Brainstorming

  • What you are passionate about?
  • What are some of your skills?
  • How could you combine the two to create some action??

Summarise your action project idea:

Who will it benefit?

How will they benefit?

How will you know if it works?.

How is this project linked to our team project topic?

When will the project happen?

Timeline: what are the major steps in planning the project?

What permissions do we need? .

What materials do we need?

Who are our likely supporters?

What barriers are we likely to encounter? .
